Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office District 1 Headquarters 

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office District 1 facility, located at 11051 Willmington Boulevard in Englewood, Florida, serves as the central hub for law enforcement operations in the western region of Charlotte County. The new 12,000-square-foot facility is situated on 12-acres of county-owned property at the intersection of Sunnybrook and Wilmington Boulevards. This central location provides multiple main arterial access points, ensuring even response times across the district.  Designed to accommodate foreseeable future growth, the facility was designed as an adaptable prototype for other district offices as needed in the future.  The project was funded by the 1% Local Option Sales Tax Extension, approved by the voters of Charlotte County.
